Contamination Assessment on School Grounds

MORAN ROCKS LLC was contacted by the client to assess soil contamination on the campus of a school in Miami Dade County. The area of study was set to be developed into additional facilities for the school but Miami Dade County Department of Environmental Resource Management (DERM) was requesting further assessment be conducted before work on the facilities expansion could proceed. MORAN ROCKS LLC partnered with CEC Engineering Inc to assess the condition of the soil in the area of study and help expedite the regulatory process so that development of the facilities could get back on track.

Results of Assessment

After conducting meetings and correspondence with DERM a path to development was agreed upon and MORAN ROCKS assisted with assessment and reporting to DERM and helped the client get construction on the facility started.
